The London Chorus with Rhydian at Fountain Studios
The whole choir is often hired by producers and promoters to perform concerts. Our regular Christmas Gala at the Royal Albert Hall is one such event, but we also perform regularly for TV and radio, including X-Factor, Rugby League Cup Finals and Songs of Praise, as well as by leading orchestras, soloists (Russell Watson, José Carerras) and concert halls.
You may also find members of the choir singing Christmas carols at Waterloo Station, raising money for charity, or by one of the temporary out-door ice-rinks in London.
Use us for fundraising
There’s no better way to reach your fundraising targets than by hiring the choir to put on a concert for your donors. In 2011 a charity in Yorkshire beat their goal to raise funds for a hospital scanner, the event that pushed them over the finish line was a gala concert attended by local VIPs and dignitaries, performed by The London Chorus. We we so pleased and proud to help this organisation reach their target, and everyone had such a great time. Our close relationship with the New London Orchestra gives us access to musicians as well as our own rising starsoloists. Our concert manager can even advise you on venues.
Team Harmony workshop
For any organisation, effective teamworking and leadership provide the foundations from which the organisation as a whole can work to achieve competitive advantage. The way in which people work together is the key to organisational success. The London Chorus has developed a training event that fits this requirement. The presentation, which is tailored to the client’s needs, is designed to be enjoyable and entertaining as well as instructive, and explores the use of the choir as a metaphor for the organisation.
The London Chorus, like all arts organisations, actively seeks and welcomes support from the commercial sector in order to support its activities. Our aim is that both parties will benefit from such support. To this end, we are delighted to work with companies to put together a bespoke package which might involve, for example, our innovative Team Harmony Workshop, members of the choir singing Christmas carols at your corporation’s event, or the opportunity for your staff to come and sing with us… the possibilities are endless!
